Developer Alex Vostrov has announced that his strategy game Infested Planet is getting a full Steam release on March 6th. The game is currently in the Early Access program on Steam.
The game is being described as a Starship Trooper style strategy game where a team of five elite soldiers must take down aliens. The alien horde is around 100,000, and as the commander of the squad you must lead your soldiers to victory.
The game features real time tactical combat, a campaign that allows yo to develop new weapons throughout, procedural maps and random mutation system keeps the game feeling new, and the ability to fight thousands of enemies at once.
The game will be available on PC and Mac.
