2K has announced that, along with production company Story Developing, they are executive producing a film called “The Art of the Game.” The documentary follows a group of students competing to get a job in the video games industry.
The students are enrolled at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and the trailer shows off the students working on art for Borderlands 2.
You can see a trailer for the game below. The full documentary will be released, for free, on the Machinima YouTube channel and the film’s Facebook page on May 12. If you want to see the documentary beforehand, you can watch a live stream of it on the Machinima Twitch Channel on May 8th at 1 pm and 6 pm PDT, or watch it on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 Machinima app between May 9th and May 11th.
