Firefly Studios has announced that Stronghold Crusader 2 is now in closed beta, and most of the remaining development will be spent optimizing the game’s performance on PC and tweaking gameplay.
Firefly has also announced the minimum PC specs required to run Stronghold Crusader 2, which are:
- Operating System: Windows® XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (latest service packs) with DirectX 9.0c
- Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2Ghz or equivalent
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GT 512MB or AMD Radeon™ HD 2900XT 512MB or better
- Storage: 6 GB available HD space
- Internet: Broadband Internet connection
Not too shabby for what looks to be an awesome castle sim. The full release of Stronghold Crusader 2 is set for September 2nd.
