EA brought out a new mobile game today at EA Play. That game is Command and Conquer Rivals. Rivals is a head-to-head real-time strategy game where you and your opponent will build units and send them out to try to take control of 3 command points. The game has a time limit after which a missile silo will launch a missile at whoever has the least command point control. If your base is hit twice by the missile, you lose. The game has a neat mini RTS look to it and it appears that you will use some strategy in producing counter-units to try to wrest control of the command locations from your enemy. The game will be available later this year for Android and iOS, but you can register right now to enter alpha tests and Android users can enter a pre-alpha starting today.
