Monster Hunter World Comes to PC August 9th

Posted by: 7/9/2018

Monster Hunter World took the gaming scene by storm when it released for Playstation 4 and Xbox One back in January, going on to become the best-selling title in Capcom’s history. A PC port was announced when the game was revealed, but Capcom has been quiet about the port outside of a nebulous fall 2018 release window. Today Capcom has finally revealed more details of the PC version of Monster Hunter World, including a launch date and recommended/minimum hardware specs.

Monster Hunter World will launch on PC via Steam on August 9, 2018. The PC port will feature a robust number of options and settings, allowing players to fine-tune their experiences. Post-launch DLC from the console version of Monster Hunter World will not be available at launch but will be released later for free and on a shorter timetable. Sadly, there do not seem to be any plans for cross-platform play with the console versions at this time.
