Halo: The Master Chief Collection Officially Coming to PC

It’s been rumored for a while now, but Microsoft made if official yesterday. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to PC later this year. In an even more surprise move, the collection will be released on Steam and on the Microsoft Store.

To make sure that the games are in a good state, they will be released in a staggered manner. Microsoft said that Halo: Reach will be the first game released for PC, and then Halos 1-4 will come after Reach. We don’t know a timeframe or price yet, but Microsoft vows that this will be a legitimate PC release. They are going to support ultrawide monitors, high resolutions, re-worked mouse and keyboard controls, and much more that PC gamers have come to expect.

This is exciting news for PC gamers who have never experienced the Halo franchise before, or for gamers like me who moved to PC from console years back, but have been yearning to return to the Halo franchise. We can’t wait to learn more. And yes, the image below is a legitimate screenshot.
