Microsoft and Epic Games with the release of Gears Of War 2. Released a Limited Edition version of the game with an unlockable golden lancer for online play. I have noticed in the online forums that no one is being aloud to download it. It gives you an error and you cant get it. Well, This brings us to today where Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and there is a quick fix. Do the following and you will get your Limited Edition Golden Lancer.
1.) go to your marketplace blade
2.) go to download history
3.) select the golden lancer download
4.) select download again

3.) select the golden lancer download
4.) select download again
Its that simple. Now lets see if we can get that golden lancer all blood stained!
