With the dashboard update coming in four days is set to revolutionize the way games are made and played. Many hardcore console gamers are scratching there heads and wondering. Is this just a Lil update to make my girlfriend like it? Or make it more appeal to the parents to buy the console for their kids for Christmas? What in this update is geared for me the gamer that likes the dashboard the way it was or is?
With me I loved the first dashboard just with all the toys of the nxe. I do think that Microsoft is trying to soften their image to take the fire of the Nintendo market. Yes, it will appeal to you girlfriend and wives. Its sooo cute.. Here is some stuff you may not know about the dash update that is geared towards us hardcore console gamers.
1.) Party system is a plus. It creates a party on your dashboard and into games seamlessly to pwn n00bs with your buds.
2.) Netflix is great addition to us media junkies.
3.) Built in caffeine dispenser- ok you got me but i can always wish!
4.) Achievement system is completely overhauled to make it easier to look up your XBL friends street cred.
5.) Video options are sick! you want what? 1080 p? Ok, just push a button here. Its that easy!
6.) Avatar may look like a US version of anime but it is still cool and may fade out with us hardcore crowd.
7.) Marketplace. oh good ole Marketplace. omg panic! no don’t. they did change it, FOR THE BETTER. You can actually find your favorite episode of Family Guy. Without digging to China to find it.
8.) The overall feel of it is one word. OPEN. This dash feels wide open without a ba–jillion options per blade.

10.) Your wife/girlfriend actually want to play with you. If its good or bad it will happen.
