Sony Officially cuts PSPgo Price to 199 USD

This morning news agency Reuters broke the news that Sony will be officially cutting the price of the PSPgo this month. The previously 249 USD priced handheld will drop by 50 bucks to 199 USD while Japan's drop will be more significant. The Go will be 16,800 yen, down from 26,800 yen.

I am not sure how much of an impact this cut will have with Kinect and Move being the big gaming purchases this holiday season and the 3DS on the horizon. It might just me another confirmation of the PSP 2.

Can't say I'm interested in buy this at all still. I want to be since there are so many PSP games I don't want to carry around with me, but there are still quite a few drawback here.
I hope Sony reveals a PSP2 next year that builds on the ideas of PSPGo.
