In an interview with the financial publication Bloomberg, head of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Andrew House revealed that their motion controller has sold about 1.5 Million units in Europe alone. Michael Pachter, famous looking glass expert has estimated 300K units in the US, that has not yet been confirmed.
Sony had been very underwhelming with their sales expectations and the current numbers exceed Sony’s expectations.
This is very good news for Sony and I am sure the holidays will also be kind to the console makers as many families will be looking for that special gift this Christmas.
