It seems that the hints of a new Battlefield game earlier this week were not pertaining to Bad Company 3. We know Battlefield 3 is coming with a Beta to be had next year. The mysterious new game is Battlefield Play4Free.
A free to play Battlefield game with up to date graphics and features sounds great.
As noted, the game will be available for no additional charge along with the optional micro transactions we have come to love.
So what is BP4F? The game will consist of 32-player matches and combine maps from Battlefield 2 with the classes from Bad Company 2. Great mix there.
Players will be able to take control of 16 vehicles including the jet fighter plane F35, featuring ‘vertical take-off landing. Yes, the jet can go straight up in the air like a chopper.
While the game won’t be out until Spring 2011, players can jump onto a November 30th Closed Beta signup right now!
