It appears that the many rumors of a user friendly subscription model, for cloud computing service OnLive, were true. The company today announced that it will be launching a 9.99 Dollar subscription plan, called PlayPack, that will allow users to play many games for a flat rate.
This is a great step into the right direction for a service like this. Users will be able to play games like FEAR 2, LEGO Batman and Prince of Persia. It seems that newer games will not be part of this plan. At least not yet.
There will be a Beta for PlayPack, free to micro console owners until January 14th 2011. The plan will launch officially the following day.
