One of the bigger reveals of the Spike TV 2010 Video Game Awards this year was the upcoming sequel to Activision’s Prototype which was the ‘best selling open world game of 2009’ according to the publisher – 2 Million sold.
When I played the game that summer my opinion was mixed, while it made a good first impression, it was a little too broken to be great.
Developer Radical Entertainment will get another shot at the franchise. It is not 100 percent clear if players will take control of Alex Mercer or the newly introduced Sgt. James Heller, who will set out to brutally murder Mercer sequel.
