Developer Red 5 Studios will be attending PAX East in Boston next month and bring Firefall in their backpacks. Better yet, the studio will have stations setup for the ‘first hands-on experience’ with the game.
The game will be playable on the show floor during the entirety of PAX East, with multiple stations set up to allow gamers to try their hand at some intense competition on a team vs. team multiplayer map. Three separate battleframes will be available for gamers to try, each of them offering different abilities for different styles of play.
Firefall will be launching in late 2011 and act as a free-to-play title, with large-scale environments and a persistent open-world.
