2K Games has passed along a press release, revealing that the not so hit game from 2007; The Darkness will be receiving a sequel later this fall. The Darkness II set 2 years after the first one will “break the conventional FPS model with Quad-Wielding gameplay,” you will be able to slash, grab, and throw objects all while firing two weapons.
“Continuing the intense story of mob boss Jackie Estacado, the wielder of the mysterious power “The Darnkess,” the game is layered with the use of dark versus light, steeped in deep and twisted storytelling, and engulfed in stylistic violence that is visualized through a hand-painted graphic noir technique that stays true to its comic book origins.”
