Many gamers, including me, were upset when Activision decided to shut down the excellent developers over at Bizarre Creations who created games like Geometry Wars, Blur and most recently Blood Stone.
Today a new website called hogrocket.com went up and revealed that three of the ex-Bizarre staff formed a new studio called ‘Hogrocket’.
Pete Collier, Ben Ward and Geometry Wars creator Stephen Cakebread are shown proudly on the indie studio’s website. The site is currently bare bones and only hints that the indie startup is ‘developing on multiple platforms’ and will soon show their progress.
