The next Nintendo console has been “speculated” to be announced at E3! PEOPLE!! THAT IS IN JUNE! This months Game Informer “approves” suspicions of the rumor that has been circling the intertubes for a while. Game production has slow, fewer updates to Wii services. It all points to a next gen console.
Also, according to hearsay, the Nintendo HD… Wii 2… SuperCube… will be more powerful than the Playstion 3 and Xbox 360. First thought, “Well it should be.” Both other consoles are, what? Five Years Old? Technology has boosted itself a lot in 5 years. My only concerns, will it be better than Xbox 3 and PS4? Or, will it even matter? Will the release of this console next year give it an edge that allows it to make a name for itself, fix the bugs, and become stable before Microsoft and Sony have a chance?
Who knows. But, I do know there are some high expectation for me. Mostly dealing with what the Wii HD needs to have.

- Rechargeable Controller
- No Additional Controller Accessories To Play A Game Comfortably
- Keep 100% Backward Compatible (WooHoo for Gamecube!)
- HDD… big one!
- Improved Online Experience. No friend code… unless my friend code can be chosen… and it is a name, not a code… so more like an ID. Wii ID… Wii HD ID… you get it.
- Improved Dashboard. Don’t get me wrong, the Wii’s Dashboard was, neat… but it really didn’t offer much. Just a bunch of screens on 3 pages.
- Lastly, no promise of “something” then never deliver. Whether that be console colors, game titles, or even dashboard content. Just… don’t.
