We previously brought you some news regarding possible Modern Warfare 3 boxart which is now followed by some very specific rumors regarding locations, characters, plot and multiplayer details of the next Call of Duty game.
Modern Warfare 3 is currently being developed by the ‘left-over’ Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Sledge Hammer Games. MW3, according to Kotaku’s spoilerrific sources, will take place all over the world including locations like New York City and Dubai while a large scale invasion on the United States is taking place.
There will be several vehicle missions (DUH!) and flip-flopping between new (“Frost” and “Sandman”) and old, familiar characters across 15 Missions.
Supposedly there are also 20 multiplayer maps will include team based and ‘horde-esque’ modes in locations like Manhattan, Brooklyn, Mogadishu and more.
The last big nugget is the rumored release date. Modern Warfare 3 is set for a November 8th release but I am sure we will find out about most of these things at E3 this June.
