Well, as if we didn’t see it coming? THQ has decided that KAOS studios, developer of the under-performing Homefront, and THQ Digital Warrington were not worth keeping around.
The publisher has announced that KAOS is closing and THQ Digital Warrington received their 60 day notices which is the norm in the UK where the digital arm is based.
While it is probably a decision mostly based on finances, THQ offered this corporate line: “strategic realignment within its internal studio structure” as reasoning for the closure.
