Game Informer Cover reveals Bethesda’s ‘Dishonored’

Are you ready for a (hopefully good) first-person stealth/action adventure game? We haven’t really had a decent one of those since the original Deus Ex or Thieve games.

Bethesda and Arkane Studios have joined forces to create just that in their latest venture called ‘Dishonored’.

Two of the creative minds behind this new and promising game are Harvey Smith (designer on Deus Ex) and Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2’s City 17 designer). These two game makers, along with all the time and money from Bethesda, make a good combination along with advice from Todd Howard (Elder Scrolls, Fallout 3) create a perfect breeding pool for a good game.

We don’t know much about Dishonored just yet but we did gather that the game is based around choices and options. In this stealth/action title players will have the option to brutally murder enemies or sneak past them without notice. Another element mentioned in the initial reveal is that ‘the world you create is based on your actions’.

We will find out more in the full cover story in August’s edition of Game Informer. Dishonored will release sometime in 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
