This may be the most shocking and admitting price drop we have seen from any console. The Nintendo 3DS only launched a few months ago with some decent buzz but dismal sales numbers across the globe.
Nintendo finally reacted and admitted that the device is just too expensive for mainstream consumers which have been the prime market for the DS since it’s original launch.
On August 12th the Nintendo 3DS will get a new price of 169.99 Dollars, down from 249.99. That is a huge and early price drop for a device that just released earlier this year.
