Here is a happy news post to offset the downer from earlier today. Previously Activision had all but canceled True Crime: Hong Kong at a rather late stage in the development cycle.
All hope was lost for a new True Crime game, for now.
Today, out of the blue, Activision and Square Enix announced that Square has picked up the publishing rights and will continue development on the game.
True Crime Hong Kong will be released under a different name and at a later point in time, still unknown.
