For those of you, who are interested in playing Deep Silver’s, Techland developed, Dead Island on PC, we have some news that may be of use to you.
Deep Silver has updated us on a few things that were wrong with the PC release.
Previously, the wrong build of the game was uploaded to Steam’s servers, that has been fixed. A massive patch is on its way (details below), the Bloodbath DLC is still coming and free to pre-orders while ‘The Ripper’ weapon activation bug is also being fixed in the next title update.

Multiplayer and Matchmaking improvements
· Maps are now correctly synchronized when player joins during map loading
· Games now filter correctly in lobby
· After joining a coop game enemies now spawn correctlyUser guidance improved. (Quest guidance, UI, shop)

· Map tracking now works correctly after loading checkpoints
· Health and stamina bars of enemies now display correctly in coop.
· Locations of invisible NPCs are no longer shown
