Today we finally received some more info on the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier Multiplayer Beta.
We have the full Q & A posted below but in short, the beta will start in January 2012 on the Xbox 360. You can gain access via Splinter Cell Conviction or getting codes via pre-orders or giveaways.
Are you still planning on doing a beta for the GRFS Multiplayer ?
Yes, definitely. We value our community’s feedback and we want to hear what they have to say about the game before it ships. We also see it as a great opportunity for players to get their hands on our innovative gameplay!
Since the game has been pushed to the beginning of 2012, the beta had to move as well & it is now planned for January 2012 a couple of months before the game ships.
Are there any plans to do the beta on Multiple platforms?
The beta is planned only for Xbox 360. We don’t have any plans for other platforms right now.
How can we access the beta ?
1. We already announced that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction owners will have early exclusive access to the beta so it’s important to hold onto the disk until the beta starts.
2. We also gave away a few keys via pre-orders or just as a gift.
3. We are planning to announce other ways to access the MP beta soon.Why was the beta postponed?
As stated above, the beta planning is impacted by the whole game development planning. We care for our fans & we want them to have the best MP experience when they finally get a chance to play the game.
What content will be offered during the beta test?
The beta testing will let you play with the core pillars offered in GRFS MP: a visceral & collaborative combat experience that rewards cunning player & team play.
Content details will be revealed closer to the beta opening, so stay tuned to the different communication channels of the Ghost Recon team.
We appreciate the patience & interest of all the gamers involved. We know they have been waiting for the beta for a long time but we think they will be pleased once they get a chance to play it, and we also have a few rewards in store for them… stay tuned!
