Well, that didn’t take long. After the company announced it would split into two, by creating the lovable ‘Qwikster’ as a DVD / Game rental service, they back tracked and revealed that no changes will be made.
There was sort of an outrage by Netflix’s customer base and this caused Netflix CEO Reed Hastings to change his mind.
It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs.
If you were worried about two accounts, two logins and all that jazz, worry no more. Everything will stay the same.
No word on the video game rental peace though, stay tuned.
