The name’s Rochard, John Rochard. This miner with a heart of gold is looking for asteroids to harvest. Equipped with his state of the art G-Lifter, anything is possible in outer space. But, remember, in space, no one can hear you scream.
Rochard is a platform based puzzler. Uniquely, it requires the use of gravity altering physics. As you progress in the game, more obstacles get added, and more upgrades get involved. It becomes an ever vicious cycle of a new problem evolving into a new solution. Which would be nice if the puzzles complied with the increasing problem scenario.
Regardless, Rochard still mixes innovative design with an ear pleasing soundtrack. I have actually let my game sit idle for some time to allow the soundtrack to play. It might have cost me the Steam Achievement to beat the game in less than 3 hours, but it was well worth it.
