There has been a lot of speculation, questions and concern regarding the PlayStation Vita 3G feature – not weather it will work – but how much it will cost.

Today Sony revealed that the plans, which much like the iPad’s, are non-contractual and will feature 2 options. Gamers who purchase the $299 3G model will be able to chose between a 250MB per month plan for 15 Dollars a month or go big and drop $25 for the 2GB plan.

Of course, you can opt to the $249 WiFi model if you’d rather just use some of the wireless hotspots around the country.

Buying the 3G Model will cost an extra 50 bucks but being able to use 3G sometime in the future, or right away, needs to be considered before dropping the big bucks.
