At Sony’s PlayStation 4 reveal event we got to see a lot of sequels but there were some new IP based titles as well such as Drive Club, the new game from Evolution Studios – the creators of the MotorStorm franchise.
Drive Club is a brand new franchise that is all about clubs as it is in the name. Apart from the game looking incredibly beautiful in motion, this first person immersion racer is based on asynchronous and live multiplayer with you and your friends taking on the world.
Players will experience levels of car fetishism like never before according to Evolution Studios. Drive Club has been explicitly detailed down to the fibers in the racing seats. Players can walk around the car, open doors and get inside similar to the mode in Forza but this game is supposed to take it further.
We didn’t get to see much from the game but it seemed quite promising if Evo can keep some of those lofty expectations they have set. Check out the reveal trailer below.
