Ubisoft has announced that Rayman Legends will now be coming out for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Originally slated for a Wii U only game, the newest Rayman game will now embrace the other two consoles. All three versions of the game will be in stores this September. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 version will be developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, which is the developer working on the Wii U version.
Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft, said that many Xbox 360 and PS3 owners told Ubisoft they wanted to play the new Rayman game on their current consoles. Key continued by saying “we decided to give the fans what they wanted while at the same time broadening the audience exposed to this innovative and memorable game.”
Oh, and for Wii U owners, this means Rayman Legends is delayed.
