In addition to the side scrolling action gameplay, Sacred Citadel will incorporate RPG mechanics into the game to add some character customization. Sacred Citadel features four main characters that the player can choose from. Each character will have their own unique upgrades that will help them gain better attacks throughout the game.
In addition to new moves, players will be able to acquire new weapons, mounts, visit towns, and “more aspects still to be revealed,” according to the press release.
Sacred Citadel is an upcoming action game from Southend Interactive, and is being published by Deep Silver. It is slated to release in 2013 as a downloadable game on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Check out the trailer for the game below.
