Far Cry 3 patch adds new content

Posted by: 3/6/2013

A new patch for Far Cry 3 is available now, and it adds some new content to the popular first person shooter. Ubisoft collected feedback from the community, and used this feedback as features for the newest patch.

On the single player side, players now have the ability to reset outposts after the end game. Players can now take those outposts over again to add some more things to do after the end game. There is also a new difficulty called Master that will be the highest difficulty, and new HUD settings to turn off most of the HUD.

The multiplayer is also getting some new features. There is now a map beta test, so players can put their user created maps into a beta mode to test the map before publishing it to the public. Players now have the ability to search for maps created by specific authors, idle players will now not be kicked from a custom or private match, and the skip map voting has been improved.

This patch is available for all versions of Far Cry 3.
