It is being described as the most creative map pack yet for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Uprising, the latest DLC pack for Black Ops II, is launching today, exclusively first on the Xbox 360. Uprising contains four new multiplayer maps, titled Encore, Magma, Vertigo, and Firing Range. It also includes a new zombies mode, as four prohibition era mobsters played by Hollywood legends Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Madsen, try to escape the famous Alcatraz prison after it has been overrun by zombies. The gangsters must use skills the acquired over the years from the criminal underworld to survive.
To celebrate the launch of Uprising, Activision and Treyarch are holding a special tournament, with teams captained by NFL players. Ray Rice and Torrey Smith, members for the 2012 Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens, will be placed on two separate teams that will include some of the development team that worked on Uprising. Gamers will be able to check out the highlights for the tournament on the Call of Duty: Black Ops Facebook page. In the meantime you can look at the some screenshots showing off Uprising.
