Ready for a little bit of nostalgia? SEGA and Disney Interactive have announced that Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is getting the remake treatment. Based on the original game from 1990, the game has been remade from the ground up to enhance the graphics and add new gameplay mechanics. Gamers will take control of Mickey, as he tries to save Minnie from the evil witch Mizrabel.
Chris Olson, vice president of Digital Business at SEGA of America said, “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse brings this great game to a new generation. Mickey is back and he looks fantastic.” Castle of Illusion will release this summer for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC. You can see the first screens for the game below.
