Phil Fish has revealed that the indie game Fez sold 200,000 copies of the game in the first year it was available on Xbox Live Arcade. The information was revealed in a blog post on the Polytron website this morning. The post was to commemorate the year anniversary of Fez releasing on Xbox Live Arcade.
Fish continues the post by saying they are hard at work gearing up for a May 1 release of Fez for the PC. You may remember that when Fez was originally released on Xbox Live Arcade, Fish had said the game would not be coming to other platforms. He went back on his word, and Fez will now reach an even larger audience in a few weeks. Fish goes as far as saying that if you haven’t played Fez yet, he hopes that you will, and to “steal it if you must!”
