Today THQ’s back catalog and final lots of Intellectual Properties went to auction where the winning bidders were Nordic Games, Gearbox and 505 Games. In somewhat of a surprise move Nordic picked up the Darksiders, Red Faction and MX vs ATV IP as well as just about everything else. The price? Well, it looks like 4.9 Million Dollars was enough to buy most of THQ’s remaining assets.
Gearbox Software grabbed itself the rights to Homeworld for 1.35 Million Dollars while 505 picked up the Drawn to Life IP for the amount of 300 thousand bucks. You can check out the list in its entirety here.
