Warner Bros. Interactive and Tecland have announced Dying Light, a first person survival horror game. It is set to release in 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
The game is set in an expansive urban environment that has been overrun by an outbreak of some sort. During the day players will scavenge the world for supplies and also material to craft weapons. When the sun goes down, the infected become aggressive and dangerous and plays will have to survive the night until the sun rises again.
“We are excited to partner with Techland on Dying Light, which is an original gaming experience for next-generation consoles,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations, Americas, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
