What was originally supposed to be a digital download only is now headed to retailer’s shelves. PAYDAY 2, the sequel to the four player co-op FPS PAYDAY: The Heist, will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this August 2013, along with the PC release on Steam.
“It’s an incredible position to be in, having a game that just keeps growing and getting better all the time,” added Head of Global Brand at 505 Games, Tim Woodley.
PAYDAY: The Heist was one of my favorite games on 2011. It was a game that you could sit down for a few hours and just perform crazy nonsense, which is needed from time to time. PAYDAY 2 is being developed by indie developer Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. Check out the boxart for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions below!
