Splinter Cell: Blacklist trailer showcases co-op

Sam Fisher is returning to game consoles this fall, and it is looking great. The spy will have help in the form of another man who likes the shadows that goes by the name Briggs. Sam and Briggs will tackle four mission types on 14 different maps.

At the end of the trailer it says “2 player split-screen.” We have asked Ubisoft to clarify if this means the game will feature offline only co-op, or if you will be able to play online with friends. We’ll update this post once we hear back.

In the meantime, check out the awesome gameplay trailer showcasing the co-op mode in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, set to release August 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.
