Activision has unveiled the details for the next Call of Duty: Black Ops II map pack. It is titled Vengeance, and will include four new multiplayer maps, plus a new zombie experience. The newest DLC for Black Ops II will release on July 2 for Xbox 360, and a couple of weeks later on PlayStation 3 and PC

The four maps include:

  • Cove – a small island map that is designed for crazy, all-out combat. You fight around a jet that crash-landed on the island, which lies in the Indian Ocean.
  • Detour – this map takes you to a destroyed suspension bridge that is high above an East Coast waterway. The bridge is littered with old cars, exposed iron, and collapsed pavement. The map has multiple levels for players to fight on.
  • Rush – for those that have always dreamed of full combat at a paintball course, Rush is the map for you. The map focuses on fast, close-quarters combat.
  • Uplink – this is a re-imagined version of Summit, which featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops. You will fight on top of a hi-tech mountain facility in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar.

The new zombie experience is titled Buried. Players will face off against the undead in an underground Old West mining town. In addition to the new area, those who purchase Vengeance will receive the Ray Gun Mark II, an incredibly powerful weapon. It will be added to all the zombie maps for those that purchase the new map pack.
