The original Fable that was released for the Xbox was one of the more popular games to have been released in the series. Lionhead Studios released a teaser trailer today, indicating that an HD remake of Fable would coming out soon. While some believe it could be a Xbox One exclusive, the end of the trailer shows the Xbox 360 logo. We’ll find out more at E3.
Fable was originally released in 2004 to critical acclaim. The game garnered a reputation because of the lead designer, Peter Molyneux, would make outlandish claims about what the game could actually do. Once it was released, gamers figured out that these promises Molyneux had made did not translate into the final version of Fable. Other than the game being over-hyped, it was a good game that quickly massed a following.

UPDATE: The Xbox Wire blog has released more information about the Fable remake. It is titled Fable Anniversary, and it will release this fall on the Xbox 360 exclusively. Fable: Anniversary will contain the original Fable game, along with the Lost Chapters expansion. We have included some screenshots of what the HD remake of Fable will look like.
