I have some extremely fond memories playing the original Syndicate Wars many, many years ago and still have the floppy disc in a dusty box in my basement. After EA had announced Syndicate it turned out to be a shooter and not the remake of the birds eye view strategy game.
The original creator of Syndicate Wars, Mike Diskett, and his team of industry veterans have teamed up to create a true spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars called Satellite Reign which takes place once again in an oppressive future run my mega corporations and hired guns.
Players will take control of up to four unique characters which will be upgraded and work together as they impact ‘a living breathing world.
Satellite Reign is looking for 350K Pounds and has already achieved 68K with 29 days to go at the time of this post.
