It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

FIFA 14 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) – It is time for the soccer games to make their yearly appearance, and what better way to start out than with the king of soccer games for the last few years, FIFA 14. Featuring all new shot physics, better career mode, and all new features for Ultimate Team, FIFA 14 is looking to be the best FIFA ever.

Pro Evolution Series 2014 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) – The PES side of the soccer gaming world also got a new release this week with PES 2014. This version promises to bring better visuals along with better animations, new ball physics, and fully licensed UEFA Champions League matches. It really is a hard decision this year.

Shadow Warrior (PC) – For fans of the original Shadow Warrior, be excited because the reboot has been released, and it is awesome. Featuring that familiar FPS gameplay of years past, but with updated visuals, Shadow Warrior will be a treat for any fan. Get ready for a lot of Wang!

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

Shadow Warrior – I’m playing this for review right now, and I am really enjoying it. It probably has some of the best sword play I’ve ever experienced in a first-person shooter. It is well done, and feels incredibly brutal.

The Raven – I’ve heard great things about this point-and-click adventure game, but have not had a chance to play it until now. While point-and-click games are not always the first game I go to, I can still find some enjoyment out of them.

Andreas’ Weekend Gaming

Grand Theft Auto V – Of course I am still playing GTA V – who isn’t, right? – of which I have completed 52 percent or so. I am in love with Trevor of course and the rest of the cast. Completing main, side and random missions around Los Santos has been a blast and playing the stock market alone had me spent some sleepless nights. Our review should be coming soon!

FIFA 14 – Our copy of FIFA 14 made it in this week which means I will be playing a lot of Football this weekend. I cannot wait to dig into the career modes, ultimate team and more. With the improvements made this year, FIFA should be on everyone’s Christmas list!
