Activision told the press today that over $1 billion of Call of Duty: Ghosts has been sold into retail worldwide. With that wording, it makes it sound like $1 billion worth of copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts has been shipped to retailers.
Regardless, that is still a huge number. Many people were wondering how Ghosts would compare to the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5, which sold over $1 billion worth of copies in three days.
Call of Duty: Ghosts was released yesterday for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC, with the next-gen versions releasing when the consoles launch.
