It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) – There really isn’t much to say about Battlefield 4, other than if you like over the top first person shooters with buildings falling around you, you may want to check this game out. It is also being released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the near future for those wanting to play it on next-gen machines.

.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) – AC IV is kind of in a similar boat as Battlefield 4. If this was a game you were looking forward to, you probably know everything about it. You play as Edward Kenway, Connor from AC III‘s grandfather. He is a British pirate that scours the Caribbean looking for treasure and other pirate stuff. For pirate lovers, this may be the game for you.

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

Grand Theft Auto 5 – I believe I am nearing the end of GTA 5, and I have loved every minute. It is such a great game that I do not want to end, but I am also excited to start playing some other games on my new PlayStation 3.

Divekick – Speaking of other PlayStation 3 games, I will be entering the world of Divekick. After seeing Dave Lang on Giant Bomb showing the game off, I knew that it would be a great game. I also believe that it could make a great party game to play when friends are over.

Andreas’ Weekend Gaming

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag –   It’s time. The order has called upon me once again and it’s is time to slip into the shoes of Edward Kenway – and the Jack Daw. Assassin’s Creed IV is the biggest game yet in the series and blurs the lines between assassins and pirates all while exploring islands, sailing the open water and getting into tons of shenanigans.
