It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U) – Donkey Kong and the gang are back with a new platformer for the Wii U called Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The game retains that popular game style that we all loved on previous Donkey Kong Country games. Hopefully next for DK is a sequel to Donkey Kong 64.

NASCAR ’14 – This weekend will be dedicated to ovals, and a few road courses as I will be making my way through a few seasons of NASCAR ’14, the latest NASCAR for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. This year’s game is being published by Deep Silver and should be the most polished and complete NASCAR game we have seen in recent years. I will be the judge! Rubbing is Racing. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – I have to be getting close to the end of this game. I’ve put 18 hours into already. Maybe I can power through the rest of it tomorrow.
