It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Wolfenstein: The New Order (Xbox One, PS4, PC,PS3, Xbox 360) – Wolfenstein makes another appearance in the video game world, this time called The New Order. Nazis won World War II, they have taken over the world, and it is up to you to save humans from the Nazis. Early reports of the game have said it is an excellent first-person shooter.

Transistor (PS4, PC) – To be honest, I know very little about Transistor. That is on purpose though. This is the kind of game that should be played with little knowledge. What I do know is it is from Supergiant Gams, the team behind Bastion. You play as Red, and possess a sword called the Transistor that interacts with Red, and is hunted by assassins. You learn about the history and secrets of the Transistor in a gorgeous cyberpunk world.

Andreas’ Weekend Gaming

When I opened a package from Bethesda upon my return from a business trip, my smile increased quickly in size. A new Wolfenstein game was in my hands and I am ready to dig into an alternate world where the Nazis conquered the world – only to be brought back down by B.J. – our usual hero.

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

With it being Memorial Day weekend, there is plenty of time for video games. I have a rescue mission I need to finish in Kerbal Space Program, along with finishing up Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, and Fract.
