Activision has released information for games they released in 2014, and let’s just say they dominated the video game market.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the top-selling console game of 2014 in the entire world, and is the top gaming franchise in the United States for the sixth straight year.
They are also stating that Skylanders Trap Team was the top kids video game on 2014, outselling their nearest competitor (we’re guessing Disney Infinity) by 17%.
Also Destiny is the best new video game IP of 2014 based on sales, and the second best selling console game in the U.S. based on revenue.
It is safe to say that Activision had quite the year in 2014. We’ll see what they do in 2015.
