As much as we sort of knew that Fallout 4 was going to be announced at E3, which happened yesterday and you can watch the trailer here, we also had a feeling that Naughty Dog would be pushing out an Uncharted HD Collection this year since Uncharted 4 slipped into 2016.
Well, today we got confirmation and we will get our HD Remaster in the form of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which will hit PS4 on October 9th this year and is being ported by Bluepoint Games who have ported or remastered games like Titanfall, Ico, and the God of War Collection so we should feel confident in their abilities to create good versions of Drake’s first three adventures.
Sony says that you can relive the first three games in the Uncharted saga in 1080p resolution and 60fps on PS4 this October. The game will also contain other improvements such as better lighting, textures, and models, but also adding a range of improvements and additions across all three games including Photo Mode and new trophies.
