Monthly NPD’s have been announced and the Xbox 360 proved to be on top which certainly is in partly due to the continued discounts of the ‘old’ and ‘phat’ 360s vs the new Xbox 360 S model at 199 and 299. Gamers are still able to pick up Arcade consoles for 149 and Elites for 249 across multiple retailers. Nonetheless it is a notable achievement to outsell the competition in July. Also notable, Crackdown 2 comes in at third place despite of the criticism of its sameness.
