At a ‘behind closed doors’ press event earlier this week Epic games told the present outlets that the recently delayed Gears of War 3 will launch with dedicated multiplayer servers. Players will be able to get early access to try out the new infrastructure when the multiplayer beta opens some time in 2011.
There have been no specific announcements regarding a date for the beta which is only being done now that Epic has time to “use it to improve Gears 3”.
